Eco-conception & recycling
Savoie boasts numerous research and training centers, companies and technical advisory bodies, who work together to develop and promote eco-design and recycling.
Training Centers:
The University of Savoie and the École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (ENSAM engineering school) offer a master's degree in "Eco-design and Environmental Management". The course was set up to train engineers to design high-performance and competitive products, and to manage the full range of environmental issues facing companies (ISO 14001, risk management, etc.)

R&D Projects and Joint Actions:
ARAMM (Rhône-Alpes Materials Agency )
ARAMM has undertaken a joint action on the theme "eco-design, design and materials". The objective: familiarize companies and designers with the advantages, tools, and methods involved in eco-design and the emergence of eco-design projects.

COMPOSITEC
The national resource centre for the composites channel, supports the RECYCOMP project, which aims to recycle waste products from composites. 10 industrial partners (Ashland Polyester, Corima, Cray Valley, Italdry, MCR/Inoplast, Plastic Omnium, Sadac, Saint Grobain Vetrotex International, SDE/Schneider Electric, Soficar) represent the groups within the channel who are testing the different solutions.

The Savoie Eco-Industries Network :
The Savoie Eco-Industries Network brings together a wide range of expertise in the collection, treatment, and recycling/re-use of waste products. The network's members include industrial companies (Akros, Trez), specialis service providers (Trialp, Valespace, Valdelec) and consultancies (Inddigo, RVX), as well as research and training centers (ENSAM, Polytech' Savoie) and business support organisations (Agence Economique de Savoie, ARAMM, CRITT de Savoie).
