In 1989 Savoie counted ten foreign capital enterprises. Today there are nearly one hundred, which attests to the growing attractiveness of our territory as is relevant to the economic prospection efforts that have been taken by our region's representatives over the past decade.
In addition to the caliber and diversity of site proposals and the qualifications of local personnel, enterprises benefit from a truly exceptional quality of life and work in Savoie. The environment is thus an indivisible element of our offer, as is our geo-strategic location.
In the single year of 2006, Savoie welcomed ten new implantations, with the highlight being a global investment of 7 Million Euros and over 370 new jobs created. In the same amount of time, 44 Savoie enterprises significantly reinforced their presence, investing some 95 Million Euros and creating more than 448 jobs.
