Savoie has long-established expertise in fields as varied as agro-food, metallurgy, electrical and electronic equipment, mechanical engineering and composite materials. In order to ensure its future economic development, Savoie is also developing emerging and forward-looking sectors, such as the mountain sports industry, and eco-industries (solar energy, eco-design and recycling).
