Missions
At the beginning of the 1980's, a study revealed two threats for the economy of Savoie : the first relating to the disengagement of big industrial groups, and the second being the fragility of an economy dominated by winter tourism that had already begun to stabilize. In reaction, the Savoie General Council created the Agence Economique de Savoie as a development tool. The Agency's goal is to stimulate economic growth by promoting development and encouraging the realization of the area's human and economic potential.
The agency plays an active role in supporting local companies, attracting inward investment and assisting entrepreneurs in the creation of new businesses. Providing attractive conditions for the development of small businesses is one of the agency's highest priorities.
Agence Economique de Savoie provides free and confidential advice through a team of professional business advisors. Many of our advisors have joined us from industry, giving them an in-depth knowledge of business needs and economic realities. Our "One company, One advisor" policy means that companies can address all their inquiries through a single personal advisor, ensuring they receive the efficient and effective service they are looking for.

Ensuring the Region's Offerings
The actions of Agence Economique de Savoie are directly linked to the territories and basins of employment which make up the department of Savoie. This management organization is designed to offer quality economic spaces which are attractive to the development of enterprises (industrial zones, buildings, terrain…).
Implantation of Enterprises
To stimulate the economy, an important mission of the agency is to prospect and recruit new enterprises to install in Savoie. The prospection is manifested in several marketing actions (mailings, trade shows, brochures…) and results in a collaboration between enterprises and the personnel network of the agency.
Enterprise Development
The agency offers development support to existing enterprises in Savoie. Its role : To analyse, understand, and anticipate expectations and to bring solid successful responses to decelerating projects.
In addition, the agency is able to address the needs of small businesses, from issues such as human resources to mobilization of public aid and financial assistance.
Supporting Start-Ups
The Agence Economique de Savoie works every day towards the creation of a favourable environment for the creation of enterprises by ensuring adequate resources of aid and accompanying project leaders.
Economic Communication
The agency aims to increase the notoriety of Savoie both economically and industrially. Therefore, it develops some useful tools of communication such as:
